MCP (Microsoft)

The Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) credential is for professionals who have the skills to successfully implement a Microsoft product or technology as part of a business solution in an organization.

Candidates are required to pass one current Microsoft certification exam.

MCPs are great for those people who would like more specialized knowledge and recognition for a particular Microsoft subject or are embarking on their MCSE or MCSA certificates.

MCPs receive benefits from Microsoft and can be taken in everything from Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional to SQL server 2000.

If you just testing the waters with Microsoft certification please do not be trapped into signing up for a full MCSE - Start with Several MCPs and then build up to your MCSE
